About us

Onebody Health & Fitness was founded by Daniel Bain in Sydney’s North West.

Head coach, Daniel graduated from Macquarie University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Medical Science.  He has a detailed understanding of the body that extends to anatomy, energy production and hormone regulation within the body. Originally a medical research scientist, he now applies his extensive background knowledge to maximise the physical results an individual can achieve through exercise, nutrition and modern training techniques.

As a fully accredited personal trainer since 2006, Daniel has extensive experience with individuals from beginners to advanced and has worked with people of all abilities, skill levels and unique needs. Clients range from overweight beginners, to elite athletes including Australia Wallabies, National Swimmers & Australian Triathletes.

As an athlete, Daniel has years of training and racing experience in Triathlon and understands the training, nutrition, recovery and performance requirements of endurance sports. Daniel’s athletic background includes;

  • Australian Ironman Finisher
  • Multiple Half Ironman finishes
  • Olympic Distance Australian age group representative for World Championships in Vancouver 2008
  • Selection for Sprint Distance Australian age group team for World Championships on the Gold Coast in 2009.
  • Countless sprint & Olympic distance races across the eastern side of Australia.

As a Level 1 Triathlon Coach and Personal Trainer, Daniel has successfully worked with clients to achieve results that include;
 
  • Core stability training for elite rugby union players, national swimmers, elite rally car drivers & Australian triathletes
  • Assisting multiple athletes achieve qualification for the Australian team for the World Championship Triathlon, including a top 10 finish. 
  • Personal best times over enticer, sprint, Olympic & Half Ironman triathlon distances for various athletes from beginner to advanced
  • Significant weight loss
  • Increased fitness & strength for people of all ages & backgrounds
  • Rehabilitation following surgery
  • Management and rehabilitation of chronic injuries including overuse injuries
  • Correction of muscle dysfunction & return of muscle balance
  • Athletic performance in endurance sports
